How to apply for a place at Park Hill Junior School
Please apply for a place through Croydon council.

We are always willing to facilitate a school tour if you are interested in your child joining Park Hill Junior School. Please contact the school office to arrange.
We are hosting an Open Morning (9:30-10:15am) and Afternoon (2:30-3:15pm) for Parents/Carers of Year 2 pupils on Thursday 3rd November. Please come to see what we can offer your child at Park Hill Junior School.
If you are requesting priority of admission on medical grounds (see our admissions criteria above) you must complete this form and return it to the school along with supporting evidence from your GP or Consulant. Applicants who request priority of admission on medical grounds to Park Hill Junior School will not be advised of the outcome until after national offer day.
Admission Outside of Normal Year Group
Please read the information in the link here carefully if you are considering making an application for admission outside of their normal year group for your child.
Parents requesting admission to a year group below the normal year of entry should submit an application for the child’s actual year group before the closing date. The request for admission to a different year group should accompany the application. This enables the application to be processed and a school place secured in the child’s actual year group if the request is refused by an admission authority.
To make an application for a place in any year group during the academic year (an in-year admission) click on the link below. Once an application for an in-year place has been make, children will be placed on their relevant year group waiting list according to our published admissions criteria. Our waiting lists are maintained by Croydon Council School Admissions. Children on waiting lists are ranked according to the priority they have under our published admissions criteria. Waiting lists do not operate on a 'first come first served' basis; if new applicants have a higher priority, they will be ranked higher than those who have been on the list for some time.
Appeals must be completed online using the appeal form.
Primary admission appeals will be heard between 6 June 2022 and 22 July 2022.
a) Deadline for Lodging Appeals: 16 May 2022. Appeal forms received within the deadline will be heard between 6 June 2022 and 22 July 2022. The aim is to hear all appeals lodged within the normal timescales before 22 July 2022, however some appeals may be heard during August.
b) Appellants will receive notice of the date of their appeal hearing at least 14 calendar days before the hearing date and, where possible, up to 21 calendar days ahead of the date.
c) Appellants must submit their additional evidence and the admission authority to submit their evidence at least 14 calendar days prior to the hearing date.
d) Decision letters will be sent to appellants within 7 calendar days of the hearing, or, where multiple appeals for a school are heard on more than one day within 7 calendar days of the last hearing day for that school.
