About Us

At Park Hill Juniors we try to provide a warm and stimulating environment in the school buildings and make the most of our extensive grounds. We hope these factors, combined with excellent teaching, will provide our pupils with a first rate education, which will stand them in good stead for the future.

The school was opened in 1968 as a Junior Mixed and Infants School, to serve the needs of the rapidly growing Park Hill Estate. As building development in the area spread and the school increased in pupil numbers, a new infant school was built on the same site and the original school split into two establishments, under separate head teachers. The Junior School is now a three form entry, accommodating approximately 360 children, aged between 7 and 11 years.

We are a diverse community united in our passion to achieve the best for our children in this stage of their learning journey. There have been many developments in recent months for our newly expanded school including the introduction of our new and exciting curriculum for the children, in line with new requirements.

We have also launched our new mission statement which clearly states our strong commitment to the learning of the children.
